‘Just Osteopathy’ was founded by Justine Putman BSc (Hons) Ost. D.O.

Originally from Belgium, Justine moved to England to study at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent where she graduated as a fully qualified and registered Osteopath.

She has a wealth of experience having worked at practices in Ilkley and Huddersfield helping a wide range of patients including babies and expectant mums.

Justine has been intrigued by Osteopathy since being introduced to it at a young age. She loves the holistic approach of osteopathy and strongly believes in stimulating the well being of a person by balancing the structural body. Osteopathy provides this approach with all the variety of its techniques.

Each Osteopath has a unique way of treatment yet ultimately they try achieve the same goal. Justine tends to use a mixture of soft tissue work, joint articulation and manipulation, visceral manipulation and cranial in her osteopathy treatment.

About Karen

Karen graduated from the College of Osteopaths in 2023 with a Batchelor of Osteopathy with Honours, following a five year degree. As a registered osteopath, Karen is also a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Her interest in osteopathy stems from receiving osteopathic treatment after the birth of her first son and experiencing the benefits of treatment for both her and her children. Whilst training, Karen worked at the practice providing soft tissue manipulation for two years and she now works as an Associate Osteopath at Just Osteopathy.

Karen was awarded the IO Rising Star Award 2023 following her nomination by the College of Osteopaths. This award recognises those at the very start of their careers who have shown a commitment to their study of osteopathy and an aspiring commitment to continue the development of the profession. Karen received her award at the Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony at the  IO Convention 2023
 
Karen is a registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Standards Council (registration number, 11491) and member of the Institute of Osteopathy
